The Federal State Organization «Rosselchozcenter» ("Russian Agricultural Center") was established through the reorganization of 69 state seed inspections and 74 regional plant protection stations. In accordance with the decision of the Government of 05.052007 years №566-p, the organization performs a wide range of services in the sphere of plant growing and plant protection. In seed growing the main services are: determination of variety qualities of seeds and definition of sowing qualities of seeds. In plant protection the main service is phytosanitary monitoring of the territory of Russian Federation.

«System approach to grain seeds heterogeneity evaluation on basis current introscopic techniques»
The following complex of seeds quality control introscopic techniques is considered in the article: microfocus X-Ray, gas discharge visualization, stereomicroscopy. It was showed, that different structural defects like fissuring, enzimomycosis exhaustion, internal germination, blastema defects, defect caused by Eurigaster integriceps, pest colonization and empty seeds can be successfully identified using microfocus X-Ray. The results of seeds microfocus X-Ray show the differences between optical parameters of X-Ray seeds patterns. Purposes of these parameters variation may be connected with the different degree of physiological maturity of seeds.

«Status and prospects of creation of cost-effective hybrids sugar beet resistant to glyphosate»
For the first time in Russia the data on the nature of inheritance of resistance to glyphosate domestic lines of sugar beet from crosses with heterozygous donors of resistance to glyphosate. Selected Razdelnaya and srotapanna inbred lines were crossing and preliminary testing of the first partially tolerant to glyphosate domestic hybrids of sugar beet. Grown seeds and roots of tolerant forms for further research.

Four types of seed yields have been formulated: 1) high yield with high seed quality; 2) high yield with low seed quality; 3) low yield with high-seed quality; 4) low yield with low seed quality. Each type of crop is formed in certain areas. On this basis, there are four main areas: 1) the zone for optimal seed-growing (I kind of yield); 2) the zone of risky seed growing (II type of yield); 3) zone of acceptable seed growing (III type of yield); 4) zone of unallowable seed growing (IV type of yield). Seed production must be concentrated in a zone of optimal seed growing.

«Distant hybridization in the breeding of the triticale»
The study of crosses between 37 varieties of winter wheat and four varieties of winter rye, shows that the majority of the studied wheat varieties that crosses with rye poorly, have genotype Kr1Kr1Kr2 Kr2. The crossability of triticale and wheat genotypes depends on genotypes of both forms, and the crossability of triticale and rye depends of the ploidy of rye (the crossability of diploid rye triticale is lower than the crossability of tetraploid rye).
